A portrait photojournalist is a photographer who captures the events of the day without interfering with or manipulating the wedding party, he is there to simply record a candid event of the whole day, taking somewhere in the region of 500 to 1000 photographs, all laid out in a storybook fashion. Simply put, he will document your day in a reportage style, start to finish.
When there is opportunity, he will arrange to pose the bride and groom in artistic contrived shots but done in such a way that gives no indication that the image was staged. He is constantly striving to take the perfect photo.
"When I meet you for a consultation, I ask for enough time to take the perfect photo. This can be while you are preparing for your wedding, or sometime after the formal ceremony.
I shoot with high end Canon digital equipment, combined with a passionate desire to produce artistic images."
